The Qin people were originally a member of the Eastern nation. They moved to the Guansu area during the early Zhou Dynasties and expanded since then. They eventually established the first unified empire in Chinese history. The Qin people played the role of connecting the past and the next in the cultural and political system. The Qin Mausoleums are concentrated expression of Qin’s ritual system and political ideas. The history of its development and change can be regarded as a microcosm of the rise of Qin.we believe that the Qin people had built four cemetery areas since the early Eastern Zhou Period. The connotation of each cemetery is different, and the elements in the cemeteries have independent or parallel development stages. The third and fourth chapters of this article discussed the relative chronological relationship of each cemetery and identityied each tomb owner based on the analysis of the various elements. The fifth chapter divides the cemeteries into five phases according to their morphological characteristics and the absolute age they are in.We can see from the first stage and the fifth stage that Qin was drastically influenced by foreign cultures, indicating that the development of Qin Mausoleum was the result of a combination of internal and external factors. The ancestors of the Qin people are survivors of Shang dynasty, they suffered difficult living environment in the western border area. These conditions strengthened their sense of class and centralization. When it comes to Eastern Zhou, the Qin people showed an extremely open learning attitude, accepted the Zhou clique ritual culture from top to bottom, and formed a set of tomb system that suits them. This system has a direct impact on the Western Han Dynasty imperial mausoleum, which can be regarded as a natural extension of the Qin mausoleum system. The form of Qin Mausoleum also influenced the form of small and medium-sized Qin tombs in a certain extent.
