During the Qing Dynasty,the royal mausoleums were divided into three areas:the first was the Three Mausoleums outside the Pass(or Sheng Jing)in present-day Shenyang City,Liaoning Province;the second was the Eastern Mausoleums in present-day Zun Hua City,Hebei Province;and the third was the Western Mausoleums in present-day Yixian County,Baoding City,Hebei Province.The three mausoleums outside the Pass are divided into three different ones: Yong Ling for the burial of the fourth ancestor of Nuerhaqi,Fuling for Nuerhaqi,and Zhao Ling for Huangtaiji.This paper intends to collect,sort out and study the historical materials of San Ling outside the Pass in Qing Dynasty to present the garrison problems of San Ling outside the Pass.This paper first makes a brief introduction to the three mausoleums in the Qing Dynasty,then compares the differences between the east and west mausoleums garrison organizations and the San Ling garrison organizations,and then leads to the establishment background and development of the San Ling mausoleums organization,and analyzes and discusses the development and evolution of the number of soldiers.By using the method of historical data analysis,induction and summary,and quantitative research,this paper summarizes the officeholding situation of the garrison officials,the salary of the garrison personnel and the land shortage in San Ling outside the Pass in Qing Dynasty,and then concludes its special features.The officers and soldiers stationed at San Ling played an important role in the annual sacrifices,the Qing emperor’s east patrol,and the daily protection of the mausoleum.Finally,the status and special features of the officers and soldiers stationed at San Ling outside the Pass of the Qing Dynasty will be expounded and summarized.Finally,the paper concludes the evaluation of the garrison of the three mausoleums outside the Pass. |
