Tourism resources are the attraction factor of tourism. Some resources, especially historical resources, are unduly used and destroyed to a certain extent in China, for its great contribution to the national economic development. Some scholars have appealed to the public for protecting these resources and put forward many useful measures.This thesis, from the point of view of feng-shui--the aesthetics forlandscape in ancient China, discusses the importance of feng-shui to the historical vein, protection and product development of tourism resources. It takes the Xianling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty as a case, tries to find out its historical background and geographical structure, believes that feng-shui is complied with during the plan of Xianling Mausoleum, and puts forward that feng-shui should be an important theory for the protection and tourism guidance of Xianling Mausoleum and other Chinese historical resources. |
