Corporate Culture And Environmental Practice (Chapter 3) English-Chinese Translation Practice Report

The selected text of the English-Chinese translation practice report is the third chapter of the management book Corporate Culture and Environmental Practice.Through the translation and research of the selected text,the following translation strategies are summarized after the analysis of examples: At the lexical level,for the translation of professional terms,the translation methods of addition and context analysis are mainly adopted;for proper nouns,transliteration plus annotation and free translation are adopted.At the sentence level,in order to avoid the phenomenon of Europeanized Chinese,the translation strategy of domestication is mainly adopted,with the translation methods of using specific meaning to replace abstract words,emphasizing parataxis over hypotaxis,turning long sentences into short sentences,more active voice than passive voice,and adjusting the word order.At the textual level,aiming at the coherence of textual translation,translation strategies are adopted to clarify the ambiguity of the original text,understand the logic of the original text and refer to the information of the original text.The translator hopes that this translation practice can not only improve translation skills,but also provide reference for the translation research of management books.
