A Comparative Study Of The Accuracy Of Machine And Human Interpretation

The new round of technological revolution and the accelerated development of the industrial revolution have brought subversive changes to the translation industry.Nowadays,the rapid development of machine translation has caused people to dispute whether machine translation is better than human translation and whether machine translation can replace human translation.This article selects the content of the Prime Minister’s answer to the press conference in 2020,and through experimental research,compares the quality of machine translation represented by Tencent Translator and manual translation by Zhang Lu in terms of tense,syntax and discourse meaning.Calculate the exact number and percentage of sentences translated by the two,analyze their problems in these aspects,and give suggestions for improvement.The aim is to enrich its translations through concrete and feasible methods,and contribute to the interpretation industry.
