A Theoretical Study Of Alienation In The German Ideology

Alienation theory is the focus in the study of Marx’s philosophy,and scholars at home and abroad have launched a protracted debate about it.In view of the fact that Marx’s use of the concept of alienation in German Ideology is much less than that in Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts in 1844,and most of them are in a mocking tone,thus making the alienation theory in German Ideology the key text of the debate.In order to clarify the position and function of alienation theory in German Ideology,this paper will carry out an in-depth textual interpretation.The main part of this paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter expounds the realistic and ideological sources of alienation theory in German Ideology,and makes a preliminary understanding of the origin of alienation theory.The second chapter combs the main contents of alienation according to the order in which Marx wrote German Ideology,mainly from the alienation theory of St Max’s chapter,the construction of Feuerbach’s alienation theory,the structure of alienation theory in German Ideology and the realistic way to discard alienation in German Ideology.The third chapter studies the status of alienation theory in German Ideology,mainly from the transcendence of alienation theory in German Ideology over alienation theory in Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts in 1844,the premise that alienation theory in German Ideology is materialism,and the positive effect of alienation theory in German Ideology on alienation theory in Capital.This paper holds that Marx did not give up the alienation theory in German Ideology,but explained the philosophical connotation of alienation theory in depth in the context of distinguishing German classical philosophy from young hegelians.The alienation theory in German Ideology plays a bridge role,which not only surpasses the humanistic paradigm in Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts in 1844,but also profoundly affects the writing of Economic Manuscripts in 1857-1858 and Capital,thus illustrating the continuity of Marx’s early and late thoughts.
