Design Description For The Documentary "Old Street Medical Affairs"

People in the real world exist in the unity of time and space.By tracking,observing and recording individual characters,it can provides a subtle entry point for the viewers to see through the passage of time and the folding of space.This design is a character documentary.Documentaries about people tend to focus on the small things,it condensed the history of The Times into a tiny fragment with a deep sense of history.Large-scale industrialization has changed the structure of labor force in rural society,and the traditional rural organizational form has been constantly impacted,which has brought challenges to rural governance in China with the pace of China’s urbanization construction accelerated.However,to give full play to the exemplary role and leading function of "new village sages" in the construction of new countryside has become the due meaning of China’s rural revitalization strategy in the new era.In the early 2018,I got acquainted with Xiao Junwen,the main character of this film,in Xiao gao town,Xichang City.The documentary focus on the life of Xiao Junwen,showing the principle that this old herbalist doctor stick to and the story of the old street which he defends for a lifetime.The documentary is intended to search for the value of Xiao Junwen,who is typical as “a modern county sage”,and delve further into humanity.We hope this film could form the character clearly and express the purport explicitly though true and plain images.This paper mainly deals with the design idea,main body explanation,director’s elaboration,reference material,ect.
