After more than 20 years of development,the art industrial parks in China has formed a various models,which have promoted the development of the cultural industry and spurred urban prosperity.However,there are also many problems in the development of the art industrial park,such as lack of strategic planning、advanced operational system or proven effective business models.In short,it shows that the parks has a short life cycle.This paper takes the Beijing 798 Art District as the research object and taking the life cycle theory as starting point,following the fundamental theory--art industrial parks life cycle analysis--798 Art District development stage and development trend--798 Art District optimization strategy research ideas.First,taking the concept of art industrial park and life cycle theory as the starting point of research,it is proposed that the life cycle of art industrial parks can be divided into the initial stage,development stage,mature stage,bottleneck period and transition period.Then,focusing on the development stage of Beijing 798 Art District,through in-depth analysis of the characteristics of each stage of Beijing 798 Art District in terms of industrial structure,driving factors,etc.,to study the internal and external risk factors that affect the life cycle of the art industrial park.At the same time,combined with the sudden public health event COVID-19,this paper analyzes the huge impact of the epidemic on the art industrial park and sorts out the crisis management measures were taken by all parties.Finally,the article puts forward the optimization strategy of art industrial parks,in order to provide experience for the construction and development of Chinese art industrial parks.
