Miss Blue Stream(????)is the goddess of Blue Stream(??)originated from the local folk beliefs in Jianye/Jiankang(now Nanjing??),the capital of the Six Dynasties(??).She is also a long-standing character and image in Chinese literature.Miss Blue Stream has both deity and humanity in folk belief and literature.Then they are entangled causing her to transform between Goddess and woman.This paper focuses on her transformation between goddess and woman,and comprehensively studies the texts of Miss Blue Stream of all ages and types.The introduction part mainly analyzes the definitions of Miss Blue Stream,gods,people,ghosts,and transformation between god and man in Chinese folk beliefs,and summarizes the geography,history,and coastal beliefs of Blue Stream.The first chapter studies the changing process of Miss Blue Stream Temple.The second to fourth chapters sort out her own evolution as a goddess,a goddess-woman hybrid,and a woman.The fifth chapter studies the disappearance of Miss Blue Stream Faith and Literature in modern times.The sixth chapter try to combine the methods of history,folklore,and literature to analyze the causes of this transformation from the perspectives of nature,cities,beliefs,literature,politics,and gender.The conclusion part summarizes the general trend and underlying reasons of Miss Blue Stream's transformation between goddess and woman.
