Research Of Chen Yi’s Orchestra "Blue Blue Sky"

Chen Yi,a world-renowned Chinese female composer,her music creation is based on the world music stage with its combination and innovation of tradition and modern,and unique personal music language.This paper takes the excellent orchestral work "Blue Blue Sky" created by Chen Yi in recent years as the research object.The work premiered in 2012,which fully reflects the creative characteristics and ideas formed by Chen Yi over the years.The full text consists of four parts.The introduction part focuses on Chen Yi’s life and artistic experience,creative style and general situation,and states the change of composer’s creative direction in a certain period and the interpretation of some creative works.The first chapter is about the background and structure of the orchestral piece Blue Sky.The first part is the introduction of creative background,the second part is the main structure,theme materials and development characteristics.The second chapter is about the characteristics of the creative techniques of“Blue Blue Sky”,which is divided into three parts.The first part is about the structural features of the pluralistic structure contraposition,including the "two-to-three" and "two-to-many" in the local structure contraposition,the rhythm structure,rhythm and dynamics structure in the overall structure contraposition,and the reference of this work to the traditional musical structure of Tibet.The second part is the tonal characteristics.It includes the overall tone layout,the double tone overlapping,the multi-tone counterpoint and the pan-pentatonic melody tonality.The third part is the main characteristics of the orchestration.In the aspect of the color of sound application,we use the color performance of conventional instruments,the particularity of musical instruments and the tone treatment of the difference of theme personality;in the contrast change of transverse structure,we use the tone melody,tone transposition and the unified tone and local "dyeing" of tone color;In the texture of hierarchical structure of the use of longitudinal,homogeneous texture and heterogeneity of texture.The third chapter is the aesthetic pursuit in Chen Yi’s music creation.This paper mainly expounds the integration and innovation of tradition and modernity,the unityof sensibility and rationality,form and content in Chen Yi’s music creation,and how to embody her creative aesthetics in “Blue Blue Sky”.By analyzing the music structure,tonal characteristics and orchestration characteristics of “Blue Blue Sky”,the full text draws a conclusion that Chen Yi is a composer who advocates nature,loves life,kind and tolerant,simple and pure,and she is multifaceted.She constantly pursues the blending of tradition and Modernity in the creation of “Blue Blue Sky”,and ultimately achieves a high degree of unity of sensibility and rationality,form and content.On the basis of absorbing traditional Chinese music culture,she boldly innovates to achieve the compatibility of multi-cultures in the world and thus form.As its unique music language,it provides enlightenment for modern music creation.
