| Sketchbooks was well-developed in Song Dynasty.The volume and quality of sketchbooks show a good writing ability in this period.Among these literature works,’Qing Bo Za Zhi’ which was written by Zhou Hui in the Southern Song Dynasty,has been great concerned by academic world in China,through its substantial contents,meticulous records and beautiful writing.The aim of this book is to correct social atmosphere,improve the reverting of social mentality,and show well-bread behavior of scholar-officials.This paper is divided into four parts:chapter one focused on the life stories and literature achievements of the family called "Hai Ling Zhou Shi",including life experience、behavior、literature achievements、moral characters、family backgrounds and so forth.In the meantime,the author discussed the content of’Qing Bo Za Zhi’,including the ancient systems of Song Dynasty、miscellaneous comments、unique customs、daily routines.Author meat to use the method of intensive reading of the texts to study this part.The writers of sketchbooks broke the writing rules before the old dynasties,which means they were narrators and reviewers.Chapter two discussed scholar-officials in public affairs,including core members of society、corruptors、moral models.The characteristic of core members was that they have a good capability of public affairs,and they also had the courage to speak out dangerous things.The characteristic of corruptors was that they were covetous of power and they also lost their good morals.The characteristic of moral models showed their good manners in the texts such as kindness and goodness.Chapter three focused on scholar-bureaucrats who were influenced by mundane life.Scholars were indulged in magic in the Taoism,and they were also preferred sings and dances.The most important thing is that some scholars showed eccentricity in their daily life.These three behaves showed some misconducts including pursuing power,wallowing in sensual pleasure and self-indulgence.In the meantime,author also try to reveal their spiritual dilemma about worldly life.In this chapter author try to use Comparative Study to find the difference between historical recordings and sketchbooks in narrative aspect Through this,author find some clues about Zhou Hui’s literary genre,such as the fragmented narrative style,the preference of climactic writing and grotesquely descriptive style with a great flourish.But some exceptional works do have strong color of realism" Zhou Hui tried to satirize the real malpractice and reconsider the history through inappropriate behavior.The scholar-bureaucrats in’Qing Bo Za Zhi’ were not only embrace ambitious of setting a strong country and very passionate in politics,but also try to get rid of political defeats,and the most important is that they would never forget mundane life.They kept their spiritual belief all the time in the materialistic society.Zhou Hui also devoted himself to find a good way for Scholars to live.So,chapter four focus on the personalities which were initiated by Zhou Hui,including "Gang Zheng Bu E" "Jie Jian Zi Su" "Jin Yan Shen Xing"."Gang Zheng Bu E" aims at pursuing powers and lacking responsibility of social life.Zhou Hui believes that bureaucrats could have the character called"Gang Yi Zheng Zhi" and could undertake the responsibilities of public affairs."Jian De" aims at the situation which bureaucrats were intertwined by a swirl of desire.Scholars show the thrifty lifestyle in their outward form,and they have better moderation in the moral aspect.From the perspective of realistic world,the attitude towards "Jian De" is also a good way to avoid risk of politics.In addition to that,Zhou Hui come up with "Jin Yan Shen Xing",aiming at irrespective of reputation and their willful behavior.The quality of "Shen Zhong" come from their vigilant attitude,and it is also an instinctive option in their life.The attitude of"Shen Zhong" not only comes from public affairs but also in their daily life. |
