A Study Of Character Metaphors In The American DC Extended Universe Films

With the continuous development of the film market,American Superhero films adapted from comics are also loved by the audience.In 2013,the first DC extended universe series movie Superman: the body of steel officially met with the public.After that,DC extended Universe Movie seized the market opportunity to adapt and process more characters in DC Comics and put them on the big screen.So far,seven films have been released.At the same time,the characters of DC extended universe movies are popular.From the perspective of metaphor art,this paper analyzes the character image of DC’s extended universe movies in the United States,and summarizes its significance and role in the movie.The combination of metaphor and character makes its charm win-win between art and business,increases the film’s observability,and mobilizes the audience’s deep thinking on the connotation of the characters in the movie.At the end of the paper,the metaphor of the character image is being molded In the process of making,it puts forward some shortcomings at the present stage,and at the same time,it provides reference for other countries in the characterization of metaphor.
