Narrative Research On Domestic Historical Documentaries From 2014 To 2018

Chinese-made historical documentaries record the vicissitudes of China’s history over thousands of years,and many of their works from 2014 to 2018 show different narrative features from the past.This article takes them as the research object,through a large number of literature and video viewing,trying to study and collate their narrative features.Firstly,this paper systematizes the overall development of domestic historical documentaries from 2014 to 2018,and selects some excellent works as typical examples,combining with relevant theories of narratology,this paper analyzes and studies the narrative theme and style,narrative structure and narrative language from three aspects,and comes to the conclusion that the domestic historical documentary films from 2014 to 2018 show the tendency of civilian narration,and developed new topics that fit the times.In the narrative style,it pays attention to individual narration and oral narration.In the narrative structure,this article from the perspective of the construction,the use of clips and the plot of the three aspects of the set-up,summed up the 2014-2018 domestic historical documentaries and the similarities and differences of the same type of documentary.After that,the author studies the Narrative Language from music and Acoustics,and analyzes their characteristics and their effects on narration.Finally,this paper analyzes the future development direction of domestic historical documentary,and makes some suggestions on its future creation and development.
