In recent years, the ontological research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is very rich and perfect, but the corresponding cultural teaching is relatively weak. With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, more and more attention has been paid to cultural teaching. However, due to the abstractness, complexity and extensiveness of culture itself, which culture should be included in the category of culture teaching and how to teach Chinese culture has become an urgent problem in the field of TCFL.The culture of filial piety runs through Chinese history, which is the fundamental source of Chinese ethics and social order and is an integral part of Chinese culture. In addition, due to the differences in geographical environment and social and economic systems, the filial piety culture in China and the west is greatly different, which easily leads to the misunderstanding of Chinese filial piety culture among European and American students. The author investigated the cultural factors of filial piety in the syllabus of TCFL,the 21 main teaching materials of TCFL,the "Chinese Bridge" series competition, the "Competition of Chinese Language Teaching Idols " and the "online Confucius Institute MOOC platform",investigated and analyzed whether these textbooks contain texts related to filial piety culture, and summarized the core knowledge points of filial piety culture from relevant contents. In this way,the deficiencies of filial piety culture in the main teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language are found and corresponding Suggestions are given. At the same time, the author adds the teaching methods and contents of filial piety culture in Chinese as a foreign language, hoping to provide a little help to the teaching of filial piety culture in Chinese as a foreign language.
