Purpose: Based on network pharmacology,we predicted the component targets and related pathways of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia,in order to explore its mechanism of action and provide new ideas for its follow-up development and application.Material and method: TCMSP database was used to obtain the active ingredients and their targets in Banxia Xiexin Decoction,and the targets were submitted to Uni Prot database for correction as the official name;Genecards database,Drugbank database and TTD database were used to obtain the targets related to functional dyspepsia;Venny analysis tool was used to obtain the intersection of the two targets,and Cytoscape was used to analyze them3.7.2 software was used to construct the component target network diagram of traditional Chinese medicine and the component potential target network diagram of Banxia Xiexin Decoction,and the network topology was analyzed to obtain the core component and core target;the intersection target was submitted to string database to construct PPI network,and the network was constructed by using Cytoscape3.7.2 software for topology analysis;Metascape platform for GO gene function enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis.The core components and core targets were verified by molecular docking.Results:1.Banxia Xiexin Decoction through quercetin,beta-sitosterol,kaempferol,stigmasterol,baicalein,wogonin six core components on PTGS2,HSP90AA1,PTGS1,AR,ESR1 and other12 core targets in the treatment of functional dyspepsia;2.STAT3,AKT1,TP53 and JUN are closely related to protein interaction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia;3.The biological processes involved in the treatment of functional dyspepsia with Banxia Xiexin Decoction include: regulation of lipopolysaccharide mediated signaling pathway,mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascade,regulation of small molecule metabolism,angiogenesis,cell response to nitrogen compounds,response to extracellular stimulation,etc;the main pathways involved include: NF-?B signaling pathway,PI3K-Akt pathway Signal pathway,JAK-STAT signal pathway,calcium signal pathway,etc.The core components and the core target docking well.Conclusion: Based on network pharmacology,this study explored that Banxia Xiexin Decoction may treat functional dyspepsia by participating in immune inflammatory response,regulating depression and other adverse emotions,promoting gastrointestinal movement and anti HP infection,which provides a new idea for the better application of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of FD.
