Data Mining Of Drug Characteristics Of Professor Zhang Shengsheng In The Treatment Of Chronic Gastritis And Its Associated Anxiety Or Depression

Background:Chronic Gastritis(CG)is a chronic inflammatory reaction and(or)atrophic lesion of gastric mucosa caused by a variety of reasons,often accompanied by anxiety,depression and other psychosocial symptoms in clinic.Many studies have shown that CG and anxiety and depression are interactive.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is effective in treating CG.Professor Zhang Shengsheng is an expert in spleen and stomach disease of TCM and has accumulated rich experience in CG clinical diagnosis and treatment.His experience in the treatment of CG and CG accompanied by anxiety or depression are worth further digging.Objective:Based on data mining technology,we explored Professor Zhang Shengsheng's syndrome differentiation and medication characteristics in the treatment of CG and CG accompanied by anxiety or depression,in order to carry forward the academic thought of experts and provide basis for clinical prescription medication.Methods:Clinical cases were collected between December 2019 and December 2020 in Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,which were diagnosed as CG treated by Professor Zhang Shengsheng.All the cases met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and scored by hospital anxiety and depression scale.The included cases will be collected and processed standardized.Clustering analysis to herbs was performed by SPSS,correlating analysis and conducting frequency analysis were performed by MATLAB,and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assist Platform was used in complex entropy clustering and unsupervised entropy clustering analysis.These data could reveal the medication feature of Professor Zhang Shengsheng in treating CG and CG accompanied by anxiety or depression.Results:1.Basic information:A total of 202 medical records were included in this study,including 85 males and 117 females.The age of the records ranged from 18 to 83 years,and the average of age was 54.7 years.There were 12 cases in definite anxiety state,29 cases in suspicious anxiety state and 161 cases without anxiety.There were 49 cases with definite depression,34 cases with suspected depression and 119 cases without depression.2.Symptom analysis:The most common symptoms of CG were gastric distention,belching,fear of cold,fatigue,amnesia,etc.The most common symptoms in CG accompanied by anxiety were amnesia,stomach distension,easy waking,irritability,halitosis,etc.The most common symptoms in CG accompanied by depression were fatigue,distension of stomach,fear of cold,forgetfulness,sputum in pharynx,etc.3.TCM syndrome analysis:Result of the law of syndrome declared that the incident rate of liver&stomach qi stagnation ranked first among the sydromes of CG,followed by wetnessheat in spleen&stomach,heat stagnation in liver&stomach,deficiency of spleen&stomach Yang,deficiency of stomach Yin,deficiency of spleen&stomach qi,blood stasis of stomach collateral.Liver&stomach qi stagnation also ranked first among the sydromes of CG accompanied by anxiety,followed by wetness-heat in spleen&stomach,heat stagnation in liver&stomach,deficiency of spleen&stomach qi,deficiency of stomach Yin,blood stasis of stomach collateral,deficiency of spleen&stomach Yang.Liver&stomach qi stagnation also ranked first among the sydromes of CG accompanied by depression,followed by wetness-heat in spleen&stomach,heat stagnation in liver&stomach,deficiency of spleen&stomach Yang,deficiency of spleen&stomach qi,deficiency of stomach Yin,blood stasis of stomach collateral.4.Medicine analysis in CG:?Frequency analysis:Professor Zhang Shengsheng's most commonly used herds in the treatment of CG were Dangshen,Chaobaizhu,Yanhusuo,Banxiaqu,Sanqifen,etc.In terms of medicinal efficacy:The most common medicinal effect were tonify,followed by regulating qi,eliminating food,clearing damp,resolving phlegm and promoting blood circulation.The medicinal property were mainly warm,collocation cold and mild.The the most meridian tropisms of the herbs are spleen,stomach,and liver,lung and heart meridians.?Correlation analysis:Professor Zhang Shengsheng's common medicine pair were Dangshen.Chaobaizhu,Baishao,Yanhusuo,Sanqifen,Muxiang,Banxiaqu,Duanwalengzi and Huanglian.?Clustering analysis:The commonly used drug combinations in the treatment of CG were Huanglian and Wuzhuyu,Chaoyiyiren and Baihuasheshecao,Chaolaifuzi,Shengbaizhu and Danggui,Shenglonggu and Baihe.?Entropy clustering analysis:Sharen,Houpo,Sanqifen,Dangshen and Zhihuangqi,Chaosuanzaoren,Huanglian,Wuzhuyu were the more valuable new prescriptions in the treatment of CG.5,Medicine analysis in CG accompanied by anxiety or depression:?CG accompanied by anxiety:Professor Zhang Shengsheng's more commonly used herds in the treatment of CG accompanied by anxiety which were compared with CG without anxiety were Chaihu,Hehuanhua,Muxiang,Sharen,Houpo,Sugeng,Zhishi,Shenglonggu,Baishao,Zhuru,Baihuasheshecao,Sanqifen,Yanhusuo and Duanwalengzi.?CG accompanied by depression:Professor Zhang Shengsheng's more commonly used herds in the treatment of CG accompanied by depression which were compared with CG without depression were Muxiang,Wuyao,Huoxiang,Chaoyiyiren,Banxiaqu,Zhuru and Duanwalengzi.Conclusion:1.Professor Zhang Shengsheng treated CG mainly focuse on "deficiency","stagnation"and "stasis",laid emphasis on Xu-Shi,cold-heat,Qi-blood in harmony,mainly by invigorating spleen and replenishing qi,regulating qi and promoting blood circulation.The cold and warm herbs were commonly simultaneous used.The nourishing xin and relieving pain,returning to meridian and entering spleen and stomach meridian,taking into account liver,lung and heart.Dangshen,Chaobaizhu,Baishao,Yanhusuo,Sanqifen and Muxiang were the more used in the treatment of CG.In addition,professor Zhang were good at using combination of drug pair,drug string with treatment,such as Huanglian and Wuzhuyu,Chaoyiyiren and Baihuasheshecao,Chaolaifuzi,Shengbaizhu and Danggui,Shenglonggu and Baihe,respectively reflected the cold-heat harmony,Qingrejiedu,expedite Fu and get rid of turgor,latent Yang tranquilizing effect.2.Professor Zhang Shengsheng mainly focused on "regulating qi activity" and "Remove the pathogenic qi" on the basis of invigorating spleen qi when treating CG accompanied by anxiety or depression.He believed that restaining and setting down qi with clearing heat and promoting blood when treating CG accompanied by anxiety.There were some herds could be used,such were Chaihu,Hehuanhua could soothe the liver and relax the depression;Muxiang,Sharen,Houpo,Sugeng,Zhishi could downward stomach qi;Shenglonggu could calm the liver and suppress yang;Baishao could astring the liver;Zhuru,Baihuasheshecao could clear the heat;Sanqifen,Yanhusuo could promot blood circulation to remove blood stasis;Duanwalengzi could soften hard lumps and dispel nodes.Lifting and dispersing qi with clearing damp and phlegm when treating CG accompanied by depression.Such as Muxiang,Wuyao could disperse qi;Huoxiang coule resolve of dampness with aromatics;Yiyiren could eliminate dampness and diuresis;Banxiaqu,Zhuru could clear phlegm;Duanwalengzi could soften hard lumps and dispel nodes.The key were restoring the operation of qi overall.
