A Study On The Overall Law Of The Correlation Between The Five Movements And Six Qi And The Occurrence Of Epidemic Diseases

Objective:Based on the theory of five Yun six Qi,the data of time when the epidemic diseases occurred in China since ancient times was collected according to the literature.Then compare to reach conclusion of likely and not likely to cause epidemic diseases relatively in every Yunqi factor with the help of statistical methods,and analyze this results with the theory of five Yun six Qi.Then sum up the total characteristics of pestilence Qi and epidemic diseases,with a view to providing some prevention and treatment ideas on coping with the epidemic diseases in the future.Methods:This study is based on the data of epidemic diseases occurred in China since ancient times that summed up by part of modern scholars.The data of time from AD 184 to 1983 in total 1800 years of five Da Yun when the epidemic diseases occurred in China,and the conventional statistical method(including the frequency statistics,ranking statistics and composition ratio addition statistics)were adopted to this study.From the angles of Da Sitian(Da Sitian 60 years divided into Da Sitian 30 years and Da Zaiquan 30 years),Suiyun,Dizhi,Yunqi Xianghe,and a comprehensive analysis was carried out to find out the Yunqi factors which were likely and not likely to cause epidemic diseases relatively.①Da Sitian study:The frequency of every Da Sitian/Da Zaiquan was counted firstly.Next,the frequency of every Da Sitian/Da Zaiquan was converted to composition ratio which was finally be added up.Afterwards,in the five Da Yun,every Da Sitian/Da Zaiquan was ranked between+6～+1,and-6～-1 intermediate values were given to the same frequency,± was given to which not only have the same frequency but also contain the rank across+and-,then these ranked results were added up.② Suiyun study:The frequency of every Suiyun was counted firstly.Next,take every Da Sitian/Da Zaiquan as a unit so that 12 units were got.Then the frequency of every Suiyun which both within the five Da Yun and 12 units,was converted to composition ratio which was finally be added up.Afterwards,the composition ratio were ranked,too.③Dizhi study:The frequency of every Dizhi was counted firstly.Next,take every Da Sitian/Da Zaiquan as a unit so that 12 units were got.Then,in the 12 units,the frequency of every Dizhi was converted to composition ratio which was finally be added up.Afterwards,every Dizhi was ranked.④Yunqi Xianghe study:The frequency of every Ganzhi year and every Tonghua/Yihua year were counted firstly,then the Ganzhi year’s frequency results were divided by 30,so that the probability results would got.Next,The frequency of every Tonghua/Yihua year were divided by the years which occupied in 60 Jiazi years.Then the Tonghua/Yihua year’s averagy frequency results were divided by 30,so that the averagy probability results would got.Results:①From the angle of Da Sitian(Da Sitian 60 years divided into Da Sitian 30 years and Da Zaiquan 30 years),the Yangming Da Sitian is the most likely to cause epidemic diseases,followed by the Shaoyin Da Zaiquan,Yangming Da Zaiquan,Jueyin Da Zaiquan and Taiyang Da Sitian,and the least likely is the Taiyang Da Zaiquan,followed by the Taiyin Da Zaiquan,Shaoyin Da Sitian,Jueyin Da Sitian.②From the angle of Suiyun,the most likely to cause epidemic diseases is Taimu,followed by Taij in,Shaomu and Shaotu,and the least likely is Taitu,followed by Shaojin and Taishui.③From the angle of Dizhi,The most likely to cause epidemic diseases is Wei,followed by Wu,You,Yin,and the least likely is Xu,followed by Chou,Si,Zi.④From the angle of Yunqi Xianghe,the most likely to cause epidemic diseases is Tianxing year(the most likely to cause epidemic diseases in Tianxing year is Dingyou year and Gengyin year),followed by Tong Suihui year,Xiaoni year;and the least likely is Shunhua year,followed by Taiyi Tianfu year,Suihui year.The years of Yunqi Yihua are more likely to cause epidemic diseases than Yunqi Tonghua in total.The most likely to cause epidemic diseases from the angle of Ganzhi year is Dingwei year,Dingyou year,Gengyin year,followed by Jisi year,Renzi year,Xinwei year,and the least likely is Jazi year,followed by Yichou year,Xinsi year,Jiayin year,Bingxu year,etc.Conclusions:The commonality of pestilence-Qi is mainly the yin-kill-properties and wind-wood-properties,the yin-kill-properties mainly including yin-metal-properties which restricts the wood,followed by yin-water-properties which restricts the fire;the total characteristic of epidemic diseases is that the metal and water restricting wood and fire is the basic pathogenesis,especially the metal restricts wood,the most typical syndrome in the clinic is Jueyin disease that cold-heat-weak-solid synthesized,becoming fire-heat syndrome or yin-cold syndrome are depending on the patient’s physique and season.
