Purpose: Non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy is an early change of diabetic retinopathy,which is a key period to reduce the occurrence of blinding eye diseases.Traditional Chinese medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine have shown advantages in treating non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.Therefore,this study collected the published literatures in recent 20 years on the treatment of this disease with traditional Chinese medicine or integrated Chinese and Western medicine,and used Microsoft Offic Excel 2007 and SPSS21.0 software to sort out,and summed up the medication rules and prescription characteristics for treating this disease,providing ideas for contemporary doctors to treat this disease.Methods: Firstly,the literatures published in China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang data knowledge service platform and weipu Chinese journal database in recent 20 years with significant effect on the treatment of this disease by traditional Chinese medicine or integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine were searched by means of key words.Second,according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,the collected important drug-related information was input into Microsoft Office Excel 2007,set up the database,summarize the frequency,proportion,nature and taste,meridian tropism and classification of related drugs included in the literature,etc.the common drugs for treating the disease are assigned,through SPSS 21.0,clustering results are obtained.Finally,Analyze all the results,the relationship between the disease and its nature,taste,meridian tropism,classification and clustering,and summarize the pathogenesis of the disease.Results:In this study,126 literatures were selected,and 147 kinds of drugs were obtained,and the total frequency of drug use was 1390 times.There are 22 common drugs(frequency? 20 times)and 4 core drugs,which are Astragalus membranaceus,Rehmannia glutinosa,Lycium barbarum and Salvia miltiorrhiza.Cold drugs are used most frequently,followed by warm drugs,sweet drugs are used most frequently,bitter and pungent drugs are used second,and liver and kidney meridians are the main channels of drugs,and heart,spleen and lung meridians are also involved.Deficiency-tonifying drugs are used most frequently,especially qi-tonifying drugs and yin-tonifying drugs,followed by heat-clearing drugs and blood-activating and blood-stasis-removing drugs.The drugs used frequently ?20 times were clustered,and 6 clustering results were obtained.Conclusion:1.A total of 22 commonly used drugs are used for the treatment of NPDR,with Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Radix Rehmanniae,Fructus Lycii,and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae as the most core drugs in particular.2.The drugs for the treatment of NPDR are mainly cold drugs,followed by warm drugs,with sweet drugs as the main drug taste,followed by bitter drugs and pungent drugs,and the meridians entered are mainly liver and kidney meridians,as well as lung,heart and spleen meridians.3.The drugs for the treatment of NPDR were mainly deficiency-tonifying drugs,followed by heat-clearing drugs and drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.Among the deficiency-tonifying drugs,especially the qi-tonifying drugs and yin-tonifying drugs were the most critical,and among the heat-clearing drugs,especially the heat-clearing and blood-cooling drugs were the most critical.4.After clustering analysis,a total of six clustering results were obtained.Qiju Dihuang Pill was the main prescription for the treatment of NPDR,Danggui Chuanxiong Decoction and Zengye Decoction played an important role.5.Dispelling wind-heat drugs,tonifying yang drugs,rhubarb and Panax notoginseng have special functions in the treatment of NPDR.
