Research On The Rural Anti-epidemic Communication Practice Of "big Horn" From The Perspective Of Media Materiality

In the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in late 2019,loudspeakerplayed an important role in the epidemic prevention in rural areas.From the perspective of materiality,this study focuses on the media trumpet,which is ignored by media research,and examines the material characteristics of loudspeakerand its impact on rural society.This study attempts to distinguish the loudspeaker from the broadcast,and thinks that the loudspeaker is a medium with sound amplification function.The practice of loudspeaker media is that in the rural information dissemination activities,the relevant personnel of the village committee rely on the loudspeaker hardware in the rural broadcast system The portable high pitch loudspeaker and other tools with sound amplification function carry out the real-time oral information dissemination behavior for the villagers in the village.This study takes village a in North China as the main field point,combined with in-depth interviews in other rural areas,to investigate the media practice and characteristics of loudspeakers in rural areas,and to explore the material characteristics of loudspeakers as a medium,as well as the related communication characteristics and the discourse metaphor and power relationship behind them,Novel coronavirus pneumonia is also being used to answer the question of what the horn can do to meet the needs of information dissemination in the rural areas during the new crown pneumonia outbreak.From the perspective of time and space,loudspeaker as an old media has been greatly limited,but it is this limitation that makes loudspeaker meet the needs of information dissemination in rural areas.Loudspeakers can only cover villages,which makes them an excellent mass media in rural areas,but they are also more used in rural areas,forming a media gap between urban and rural areas.Especially during the epidemic period,the low threshold and high-efficiency communication form of loudspeakeradapted to the needs of information communication in special period.From the perspective of relationship,the loudspeakerreflects the multi-level power relationship between the transmitter and the receiver,the city and the countryside.
