Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Shugan An mian Decoction in the treatment of insomnia after stroke(liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome).Methods:92 patients with insomnia after stroke(liver dep ression and spleen deficiency syndrome)were selected and ran domly divided into observation group and control group.On th e basis of basic treatment,the observation group was given Sh ugan An mian decoction,and the control group was given alpraz olam,the clinical effects of the two groups before and after tr eatment were compared.Results:Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index?Quantization Table for TCM Syndrome Differentiation?Stroke-specific Quality of Li fe were used in the clinical study.And we have a result that th ere are statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05)A fter treatment but pre-treatment.The curative effect of the ob servation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).By comparing the factors of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,the observation group was better than the control group in sl eep quality,sleep disorders and daytime dysfunction(P<0.05).B y comparing the factors of Quantization Table for TCM Syndrom e Differentiation,the observation group was better than the con trol group in abdominal distention?Poor diet?Sigh(P<0.05).Conclusion:Shugan Anmian decoct ion is effective in treatin g insomnia after stroke(liver depression and spleen deficiency s yndrome),clinical observation shows that the curative effect is better than that of alprazolam,with less side effects and hig h safety,which is worthy of clinical application.
