Objective:To observe the clinical effect of needle knife on dysphagia after ischemic stroke. Methods:A total of 40 patients with deglutition disorder after ischemic stroke who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into group A and group B according to random number table method, with 20 patients in each group. Both groups were given basic treatment, including body acupuncture therapy once A day and one day off per week.Group A was treated with acupotomology once every 3 days and one day off per week for 4 consecutive weeks.Group B was treated with three-needle tongue therapy, once a day,one day off a week, for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, swallowing status was assessed by standard swallowing function scale and swallowing related quality of life scale.Clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed after treatment.Results:1.Swallowing status:Compared with before treatment,S SA scores in both groups were significantly decreased after treatment(both P<0.05),indicating that needle knife therapy and three-needle tongue therapy can improve swallowing status of patients.Compared with group B,SSA score of group A was not significantly improved(P>0.05),indicating that needle knife therapy had no significant difference in improving swallowing condition of patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke compared with three-needle tongue therapy.2.SWAL-QOL scores in both groups were significantly decreased after treatment compared with before treatment(both P<0.05),indicating that needle knife therapy and three-needle tongue therapy can improve swallowing-related quality of life in patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke.Compared with group B,the improvement of SWAL-QOL score in group A was not significant(P>0.05),indicating that the effect of needle knife therapy on swallowing related quality of life in patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke was not significantly different from that of three-tongue acupuncture therapy.3.Clinical efficacy:The total effective rate of group A was 8 0%after treatment. The total effective rate of group B was 80%.There was no statistical significance in the total efficacy between group A and group B(P>0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of needle knife in the treatment of dysphagia after ischemic stroke was basically the same as that of three-needle tongue therapy. Conclusion:Acupotomy therapy can improve the swallowing condition of patients and the quality of life related to swallowing in patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke. The clinical effect of acupotomology in the treatment of dysphagia after ischemic stroke is the same as that of three-needle tongue therapy.
