Evaluation Of Imaging Technology On Osteoporosis Modeling In Castrated Rats And The Effect Of Bushen Huoxue Recipe On It

Objective: It is easy to operate and noninvasive imaging technology to determine whether the osteoporosis m odel of female rats after ovariectomy is successful.The effects of Bushen Huoxue Recipe on osteoporosis in ovariectomized female rats were determined from estrous cycle and bone mineral densityMethods: Thirty female SD rats were randomly divided into bla nk control group(n = 10)and model group(n = 20)after one week of adaptive spray rearing.The vaginal smears were observed for 5 days from the third day after modeling.After 12 weeks of conventional feeding,the rats in the blank control group and the model preparation group were examined by color Doppler ultrasonography and the spinal CT analysis.After confirming the success of modeling,the remaining rats in the model preparation group were randomly divided into model group and traditional Chinese medicine group,with 10 rats in each group.The blank control group and model group were given normal saline(10ml / 1kg / D)by gavage,and the traditional Chinese medicine dose group were given Bushen Huoxue Decoction by gavage for 12 weeks.The weight of rats was measured every 7 days after intragastric administration.The uterus and spine of rats were imaged by color Doppler ultrasound and CT on the second day after intervention,and the bone mineral density of rats was examined for statistical analysis.Spss22.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)Color Doppler ultrasound and CT can effectively evaluate the establishment of the model;(2)vaginal exfoliated cell smear proved that the estrous cycle of rats was disordered and the establishment of the model was successful,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(3)Bushen Huoxue recipe can delay the uterine atrophy of postmenopausal rats;Bushen Huoxue recipe can delay the decrease of bone mineral density of postmenopaus al rats,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).(4)Bushen Huoxue Decoction could delay the decrease of m value of spinal CT in postmenopausal rats,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions: Ovariectomized rat model can successfully establish postmenopausal osteoporosis rat model.Color Doppler ultrasound and CT can effectively evaluate the model.Bushen Huoxue Decoction can delay uterine atrophy in postmenopausal rats.Bushen Huoxue Decoction can delay osteoporosis in postmenopausal rats.
