Status Quo And Optimization Of Medical Equipment Management System In Public Hospitals

The public hospital is an very important part of our health care system,which plays a significant role in the fight against "2019-nCoV".However,there are still many problems in the management of public hospitals.This paper focuses on the management and system construction of hospital medical equipment in public hospitals,and puts forward innovative suggestions based on the actual work.In our country,the study of hospital management system has only a history of more than ten years.The study of medical equipment management system,which has important significance to hospital management system,began in the 1990s.In 1999,the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health issued the "Hospital Financial System" and "Hospital Accounting System",which put forward the concept of medical equipment management for the first time,it meant a lot to the formation of hospital management system.Since the beginning of the 21st century,the research on hospital management system has gradually increased.However,due to the imperfection of the theoretical system,the application system has just begun to practice,and there are still many vague and neglected understandings.Medical equipment management system is one of the core elements of hospital management system,which is the most important part in the cost management of public hospitals.Public hospitals belong to state institutions,with government financial expenditure as the main support.Managing scientifically public hospitals,saving government financial expenditure,and improving the efficiency of public hospitals' bidding and procurement all depend on the successful implementation of medical equipment management.Under the policy requirements of the new health care reform,while drug costs are gradually controlled,the management efficiency and the level of medical equipment in public hospitals should be improved as well.At the same time,the competition between medical service institutions is becoming more and more fierce.If public hospitals,independent economic entities,want to be in a favorable position in the market competition and realize the long-term strategy of sustainable development,they must not only improve the level of medical service,but also improve the efficiency of public resource utilization.So this also requires public hospitals to realize the medical equipment management in order to achieve utilization.Limited public resources provide hardware support for clinical front-line and high quality medical services for patients.In summary,public hospitals should strengthen the medical equipment management system,establish a scientific system for medical equipment management,use practical and effective management methods to control the bidding and purchasing of medical equipment and even the whole life cycle,and put forward the new idea that is strengthening the medical equipment management system.It urges the medical equipment management departments of public hospitals in China to provide hardware support for clinical front-line and high-quality services for patients,and the same time,to achieve comprehensive optimization and effectively use limited public resources to serve the public.This paper first elaborates the characteristics and importance of medical equipment in public hospitals,laying a theoretical foundation for medical equipment management in public hospitals.Then the current situation and problems of medical equipment management system in hospitals at home and abroad are briefly described and analyzed.Taking Equipment Department of D Hospital in Dalian as a case,the cost control of medical equipment is analyzed in order to explore the problems and optimization strategies of medical equipment system in public hospitals.Finally,some suggestions for strengthening the medical equipment management system are put forward.Taking this as the topic,the study aims at the imperfections of medical equipment management system in public hospitals in China,which is conducive to the establishment of medical equipment management system in public hospitals.This study is conducive to the effective use of limited public resources for public service in public hospitals in China,and has important theoretical and practical significance for the development of public hospitals.
