In the past 40 years, more and more rural people have flocked to cities and towns in China.Along with the aging development trend of population age structure in China,it is more and more common for the elderly to migrate from rural areas to cities. So,will the urban and rural migration events of the elderly constitute the influencing factors of their health?Based on the time-space perspective of life course, this paper combines the spatial transformation of urban and rural migration events of the elderly with the temporal dimension of the elderly's health, and puts the correlation analysis of migration events and the elderly's health under the three-dimensional time frame of "cohort, age and lag" to carry out the corresponding empirical research.Based on the data of CLHLS,this paper uses the binary logistic regression model, the hierarchical linear model and the difference in difference model to study the cohort effect, the age effect and the lag effect of the migration events in the early or old age on the health level(chronic disease index and self-reported health index)in the old age.The basic conclusions are as follows:First, the cohort effect analysis:in the analysis of the effect of early migration events on the health level of the elderly, different health measurement indicators lead to different conclusions.Specifically,in terms of indicators of chronic diseases, early migration events of the elderly will significantly increase their risk of chronic diseases in the elderly. Moreover, this negative effect generally exists in the cohort of older people born earlier. In this paper,it refers to the group of older people born in 1896-1931,not in the cohort of older people born last(1932-1937).In terms of self-reported health indicators of the elderly, the conclusion is just the opposite.Early migration events of the elderly will significantly improve the probability of self-reported health in the elderly. And this positive effect only existed in the first cohort of the elderly(1896-1901),and no such effect was found in the rest of the elderly cohort. The second is the age effect analysis:the age stage of the elderly when the migration event occurs in the old age will constitute an important influencing factor of the health level in the old age, that is,the migration event in the old age of the elderly has obvious age effect in the health field.Specifically speaking,in terms of indicators of chronic diseases, the health effects of migration events show an obvious U-shaped distribution in the age stage, that is,the elderly in the very old age stage(95+years old)face the greatest health risk, followed by the younger elderly(65-79 years old),and the youngest is the elderly(80-94 years old).In terms of self-reported health indicators, although there is no certain distribution pattern in the age stage,it also points out that the negative effect of migration events on health is the most prominent in the extra old age stage, which will significantly reduce the self-reported health level of the elderly. The third is the lag effect analysis:there are also differences in the health indicators of the elderly in the impact of migration events on their health level in the elderly.Specifically,in terms of indicators of chronic diseases, the impact of migration events on the health level of the elderly has a significant lag.Whether from the perspective of lag effect or the length of residence, there is a consistent conclusion that the elderly will have a significant health effect only after living in the urban environment for a long time, and This health effect is negative. It will increase the number of chronic diseases in the elderly. However, there was no significant lag in the self-reported health indicators of the elderly, and no significant effect was found. After obtaining the general law of the effect of the elderly's migration events on their health, this paper provides a reference standard for the elderly to choose an appropriate migration time point, provides a certain policy guidance for the scientific and reasonable arrangement of the elderly's migration work in urban and rural areas, and plans the spatial distribution mode of the future pension institutions.
