Objective: this subject aims to investigate and assess community elderly hypertensionpeople life quality and health quotient level. Make it clear that the main factors that influencecommunity elderly hypertensive population life quality and health quotient, to explore themethod that apply health education that based on the theory of health quotient to thecommunity elderly hypertension people, and finally to improve the level of communityelderly hypertension people’s physical and mental health.Methods: by using the method of random sampling, in the form of questionnaire,collecting and analyzing life quality and health of business data of498cases of Changchuncity primary senile hypertension patients in community. then the patients are randomlydivided into research group and control group.the research group are intervened by themethod that based on the theory of health quotient, however, the control group are intervenedby the method that based on the traditional health education. And finally, make a comparebetween the two groups on both life quality and health quotient level.Results:1. gender, educational level, occupation, income, blood pressure control, canuse a tonometer or not take an effect on life quality and health quotient (p <0.05); In lifequality areas, the psychological field and environmental scores low, the main influencingfactors are: health care service convenience, leisure activities, social support satisfaction, etc.;in the various dimensions of health quotient self-care and health knowledge score is low, themain influencing factors are: blood pressure control satisfaction, living habits, eating habits,etc.2. the research group and the control group health education effect, in the comparison ofthe team’s health education has greatly increased the community elderly hypertensivepopulation’s life quality and health level (p <0.05), its effect is significantly higher than thecontrol group.Conclusion: the community elderly hypertension people’s life quality and healthquotient are in the medium level. health education that based on the theory of health quotientcan increase health quotient five dimensions (self-care, health knowledge, way of life, mentalstatus, life skills), meet the physiological and psychological needs of the elderly better, can effectively improve the life quality and health level of the elderly.
