Medical and Health Services is of vital importance to the health of hundreds of millions of people,and is a major issue concerning its people's well-being.In order to advance the reform of its medical and healthcare system,meet people's growing medical and health needs,and establish a medical and health system with Chinese characteristics,the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China issued the opinions on deepening the reform of the medical and healthcare system.Inner Mongolia is one of the five ethnic autonomous regions in the northern China,the unity and stability of which is of great significance to the People's Republic of China.Based on public medical institutions in Inner Mongolia,this paper explores the problems of drug procurement.The aim is to analyze the present situation of the drug procurement,in order to search the problems in the procurement process,such as imperfect of the drug catalog,the drug pricing,and the procurement platform,etc.In view of the above problems,the paper analyzes the advanced drug procurement management models of other provinces in order to find out the solutions of drug procurement in Inner Mongolia.First,the selection of drug catalog is of vital importance,and the supplementary mechanism should be established to meet the first-line clinical needs.Second,the price supervision mechanism should be improved.Third,the relevant settings of drug procurement platform should be reformed timely in accordance to the procurement needs of medical institutions.The improvement of drug procurement in the public medical institutions in Inner Mongolia,will benefit the establishment of the basic medical and healthcare system covering both urban and rural residents.In this way,it will ensure the effective and standardized operation of the medical and healthcare system.
