China's economy has entered the stage of high-quality development,and promoted agriculture into the green development stage,but the rapid development of agriculture in China has brought about more and more problems,the excessive use of agricultural capital caused by environmental pollution,human-land contradictions lead to overexploitation of cultivated land resources,etc.It has become an important factor hindering the further high-quality development of agricultural.As an important cause of pollution from agricultural sources,the unreasonable utilization of fertilizer can not be underestimated.The state attaches great importance to fertilizer reduction,and in this context,it is very important to explore how to improve the efficiency of fertilizer use.Cultivated land fragmentation is a long-standing phenomenon in China,cultivated land fragmentation will increase the difficulty of the use of agricultural machinery,increase the cost of agriculture and the difficulty of land management,the reduction of fertilizer has played a certain role in hindering.Based on the data of grain and agriculture field research in Xihua County,this paper studies the effect of cultivated land fragmentation on the efficiency of fertilizer use.First of all,this paper explains the academic value of research,the concept of research objects and the theoretical basis of research.Secondly,the sample counties of the empirical part are summarized from the natural environment,population,administrative planning and economic situation,and the present situation of agricultural production is introduced and analyzed from the aspects of land,grain production and fertilizer application intensity.Then,using SFA method to analyze the efficiency of fertilizer use of farmers in Xihua County,the effect of cultivated land fragmentation on fertilizer use efficiency was measured by means of the quantity of cultivated land and the average area of the block,and the accuracy and reliability of regression results were improved by adding control variables.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.After empirical analysis of grain farmers' planting in Xihua County,the following conclusions are obtained: First,the agricultural cultivation in Xihua County is mainly based on grain crop cultivation,and the intensity of fertilizer use in the county is far from meeting the standard of zero growth and reduction of fertilizer use in the country.Second,farmers' production efficiency is better,but fertilizer use technology efficiency is not high,fertilizer technology is not efficient use of higher,fertilizer use efficiency still has a huge room for improvement.Third,the higher of cultivated land fragmentation,the lower efficiency of fertilizer use,showing a reverse relationship.Fourth,in the individual characteristics of farmers in the control variable group,the number of years of education of farmers is significant in both cases,and it is positively related to the efficiency of fertilizer use,the higher and the longer time education level of the head of household,the higher efficiency of fertilizer use.Fifthly,in the two results of the return of family characteristics and production and operation characteristics,the results of receiving agricultural professional skills training and joining agricultural professional cooperatives were not significant,indicating that these two factors had less impact on the efficiency of fertilizer use.According to the conclusions,the following suggestions are given in this paper: using technical means for reasonable land leveling and comprehensive development and utilization.This paper has the following innovations: First,when studying the efficiency of fertilizer use,the existing literature usually takes the cultivated land fragmentation as a control variable affecting the efficiency of fertilizer use,and this paper takes it as the core variable in this paper,and studies it separately.Second,this paper is aimed at grain farmers,not all farmers.Henan Province is a big grain production province,as the core area of grain,how to put as few factors of production as possible,protect the environment under the premise of improving the quality and yield of grain is very important.Therefore,the study of grain farmers is particularly critical.However,there are still some shortcomings in this paper: First,subject to the real conditions,the sample size of this paper is only 337,can reflect to a certain extent the state of agricultural cultivation in Xihua County,but can not represent the overall situation of the North China Plain.Secondly,agricultural production is a long-term and sustained production operation activities,which need to be paid continuous attention to and lessons learned over a long period of time in order to seek sustainable development of agriculture.
