The economy in our country has developed rapidly since the implementation of reform and opening up.In particular,it has ushered in the climax of economic development with the rise of the Internet industry over the years,which also brings people's higher requirement for living standards and quality of life.When it comes to tourism,it has been selected as a new way by the public to experience life.Then,B&B as a new way of living dependent on tourism rises with the development of tourism industry,which has also come into our view.Meanwhile,B&B industry has been developed all over the country in line with their unique geographical advantages and tourism features.In terms of Mengyin as a national 5A National Forest Park,it has attracted a large number of tourists to live and play here every year with unique natural scenery and folk customs,which thus is imperative for the birth of Mengyin B&B.However,it is found that the B&B in Mengyin is still in the initial stage of development according to the investigation.Only two or three cases of boutique B&B are found to have obvious design theme or involve the embodiment of regional culture.The form of farmhouse and hotel is common to see in most of them,which is lack of cultural connotation,and fails to provide the carrier for the regional culture publicity of Mengyin.In this context,the actual experience of tourists is greatly reduced.In this thesis,it carries out the research on the relevant B&B materials and references in line with the development data of the B&B in Mengyin by investigation,which also makes elaboration on the basic concept of regional culture.After that,it makes summary of the regional features and the development status of the B&B in Mengyin,which also carries out the analysis on the necessity of embodying the regional culture of the B&B in Mengyin.The introduction of space level,color,material,decoration and light of Mengyin B&B is deeply analyzed according to the actual situation of Mengyin and through the combination of the relevant cases,and the regional culture of Mengyin is fully embodied through the extraction of elements.In addition,it makes summary of the design and research principles,so that enough design application and study for designing the B&B in Mengyin under the regional culture is made.
