The Impact Of Regional Culture On Interior Design

Huizhou architecture which Located in Southern Anhui has maintained financial quaint, simple, rich in one of the unique artistic style;Guanzhong area has very deep historical and cultural heritage and rich resources, especially in the design of residential buildings decoration which was made outstanding achievements.The comparative studies and consolidation on traditional residential buildings decoration between Southern Anhui and Guanzhong have underestimated value and significance to our contemporary design and cultural heritage.This paper will compare Southern Anhui and Guanzhong these two different regional styles of traditional houses decorative design, from the formation factors of regional culture,the two kind styles analysis of interior design cases, as well as two styles of interior features, etc.The formation factors of regional culture mainly including two aspects:natural factors and social factors,Natural factors mainly including climatic conditions and geographic location;social factors mainly refers to customs, religious beliefs,living habits and so on.The design cases were selected Aniu Cottage Cultural Theme Restaurants in Huangshan City and the Image of Guanzhong area Hotel in Hefei City to carry out comparative analysis.Both of the cases have a distinctive style.Then contrast the interior decoration and furnishings between South Anhui and Guanzhong.The characteristics and contents of the traditional interior decoration and furnishings of the two places are mainly analyzed.Finally, this paper designs two kinds of styles in the South Anhui and Guanzhong region characteristic.So that we can more clearly understand the influence of regionality to culture, architecture, indoor.The regional culture should be respected, so that the contemporary interior design can be integrated with the regional culture.
