Center axle trailers and draw-bar trailers play an important role in the development and upgrade of freight transportation equipment,reducing fuel consumption,improving economic efficiency,and reducing environmental pollution.At the same time,military trailers have also improved the long-term combat capability and continuous combat capability of our army it plays a very important role.Therefore,as the key technology of the center axle trailer and the draw-bar trailer,the research of the trailer braking system is of great significance.However,the existing inertial hydraulic trailer braking system has the disadvantages of slow braking response,frequent collisions during braking,poor safety,and short service life.This article designs an active trailer braking system and its control strategy.It combines electronic hydraulic braking components with position measurement components and an electronic control unit.It actively detects the relative positions of the connecting components between the tractor and the trailer,and active braking on the trailer.First,perform kinematic and mechanical analysis on the tractor and trailer,and establish mathematical models such as tires,adhesion coefficients,and brakes.Model and analyze the electronic hydraulic braking system,and study the impact of changes in certain parameters on the performance indicators of the electronic hydraulic braking system.The performance requirements,functional requirements,and evaluation indicators are put forward,the overall scheme of the active trailer braking system is designed,and the functions and performance of its main components are studied.Build simulation models of active trailer braking system and inertial hydraulic trailer braking system on Matlab/Simulink,verify the braking performance and compare and analyze the simulation results.It is concluded that the active trailer braking system has better braking performance,the braking system has a longer service life,the collision frequency of the connecting members is less,and it is closer to the ideal trailer braking effect.Set up an experimental bench and analyze the test results.It is concluded that the active trailer braking system has good braking performance,the collision frequency of the connecting members is very small,and it is close to the ideal trailer braking effect.
