As of the end of 2020,China’s railways are equipped with a total of 3,260 EMUs,all of which have a speed of 200-350 km/h.In order to ensure the normal and orderly operation of the EMU,a large number of operation and maintenance personnel are required to maintain the EMU on site,and a large number of technical personnel are also required in the manufacturing enterprise to design and manufacture the EMU.College graduates who understand EMU technology have become the core force in the development of China’s high-speed rail industry.The braking technology of EMUs is very different from that of traditional railway locomotives.It is necessary to establish a test bench for EMU braking technology in colleges and universities and to carry out corresponding experiments to simulate the braking process of EMUs according to the braking requirements of EMUs.Some domestic test benches are mainly for scientific research.In order to obtain effective scientific research results,most of them are 1:1.These test benches are not suitable for college students to learn motor vehicle braking technology and carry out corresponding experiments.It is not easy to operate and safety is not easy to guarantee.Therefore,according to the professional construction requirements,this paper designs and researches a simulated braking model test bench which is suitable for the practical training of college students and mastering the braking technology of EMUs.On the basis of fully understanding the principle of EMU braking technology at home and abroad,combined with the braking process of the actual EMU,taking a single EMU axle as the object,the inertia wheel is used to simulate the mass of the car body and the electromagnetic brake is used to simulate the resistance between the wheel and rail.Equipped with disc brakes,it can reproduce the process of air braking and regenerative braking in the running of the motor train.The relevant components of the experimental device have been strictly analyzed and calculated.The braking curve of the test bench verifies the rationality of the design.The main work includes:1.Taking the motor vehicle braking test bench that has been successfully developed as a reference,combined with the requirements of undergraduate teaching laboratory construction,the experimental bench designed this time is theoretically analyzed,including the motor vehicle braking control strategy,the electric-air braking force distribution,and the resistance of the motor vehicle.Through analysis,inertia characteristic analysis,etc.,the reasonable parameters of the relevant devices of the test bench are obtained.2.Based on the parameters obtained by calculation and analysis,the selection of motor,inverter,flywheel,brake disc,brake and magnetic powder brake was carried out.The engineering drawings are prepared,and then the production and processing are carried out.3.According to the parameters and structure of the experimental bench,the main circuit and control circuit are designed with PLC as the control core.A human-computer interaction interface is built to program the PLC control scheme.The human-machine interface based on Botu V16 SIMATIC Win CC can be used to implement experimental control through the buttons of the interface,and can complete single air braking,regenerative braking and coordinated coordination.Simulation of braking process.4.Functional tests are carried out on the completed EMU braking model test bench,including the common electric-air combined braking deceleration verification experiment;the common electric-air combined braking braking force distribution verification experiment;and the pure electric braking experiment.Through experiments,the braking effect of the test bench,the accuracy of the braking distribution strategy,and the characteristics of electric braking are respectively verified.According to the analysis of the experimental data,the changing trend of the data curve obtained by the designed scaled EMU braking simulation test bench is consistent with the actual situation.sex.The design of the experimental bench can provide great help for the combination of professional theory and practical training of railway-related majors in colleges and universities.
