Research On The Design Of Home Furnishing Products Suitable For The Elderly Based On Semantic Difference-analytic Hierarchy Process

In the context of an aging society,the inadequacy in the design of elderly-oriented home products contrasts with the increasing demand of elderly users.In order to transform the needs of elderly users into design elements,this study uses semantic difference analysis to improve the analytic hierarchy process,build an elderly-oriented home product design model,obtain the needs and perceptual preferences of elderly users,and obtain more accurate design strategies to guide product design.First,related theories were studied.The characteristics and usage of semantic difference-analytic hierarchy process were expounded.The design principles of elderly-oriented home products were summarized by analyzing the relevant theories.Second,elderly-oriented home products were analyzed.The definition and classification of elderly-oriented home products were clarified,and the existing products were compared and analyzed.Problems in existing designs were summarized.According to the penetration rate and demand of the product,the nursing bed was selected as the carrier for research.Third,the needs of elderly users were tapped.The characteristics of the elderly users were analyzed from the perspective of physiology,psychology,behavior and environment.Through the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews,the needs of elderly users were obtained,and the nursing bed demand system was constructed.Fourth,the nursing bed design strategy was constructed.Elderly-oriented home product design model was built based on SD-AHP.Through the investigation of user's perceptual preference,the criterion layer was constructed.Through expert method research and elderly user research,nursing bed design strategies were obtained.Fifth,nursing bed design practice was carried out.Guided by design strategy,design was positioned.The design plan was selected and optimized through user evaluation.Based on SD-AHP,the design model of elderly-oriented home products can enable experts and elderly users to participate in the design process together,get specific design strategies to guide the design of elderly-oriented home products and provide references for the design of elderly-oriented home products.
