In recently years,the automotive industry in China has improved rapidly and China market has been the largest one in the world.On the new energy automotive market sales is only below 5% in the whole market which means that in the future the new energy automotive industry has the good prospects.Under the guidance of the government,both the enterprises in China mainland and the overseas have started the fierce competition.In this environment with opportunities and challenges,the fortune500 enterprise HD group selected to build up HC automotive and stepped into the new energy automotive field.Automotive R&D is the core competitiveness among the OEMs and as the key system of the automotive,the chassis system plays the important role.This research is focusing on the issues in the R&D management of HC automotive R&D center.This research is combined with the management theoretical knowledge,by the way of investigation and looking through the literature and use the PEST,Porter's Five Forces Model and SWOT analysis method to analysis the external and internal environment.Then it put forward the viewpoints to strengthen the R&D strategy management and technical innovation management,it also put the platform and commonality design at the same time to solve the current issues in the chassis department.This research takes performance management,recruitment and training management safeguard measures to make sure the issues can be solved and the R&D work of HC automotive can go smoothly.In the future the HC automotive could realize the overall strategy goals.This research is not only worth to be learned by the other departments of HC automotive and other companies in the same industry.For the common points,there are also good reference significance for the R&D management in the other industries.
