Urban street is an important part of urban construction,its area accounts is more than 1/3of the total urban land area.With the acceleration of urbanization process,the population base is also increasing,resulting in the pressure of urban street drainage system.However,the urban street landscape also faces many problems.In recent years,the relevant government departments are constantly updating the urban street design,accelerating the construction of urban street landscape,but the function and environmental problems of urban street still exist,and it is difficult to meet the needs of people's life and spirit.Therefore,urban green street construction is imperative.As early as 40 years ago,landscape architect Michael Hager put forward the idea of landscape ecological planning,advocating the maintenance of the hydrological environment in the site,the protection of water resources and water conservation.After many years,this idea has been applied in the United States and gradually developed into green street design.Urban green street construction is to integrate green infrastructure into urban street design through stormwater management.Through this method,not only urban surface runoff can be effectively managed,but also the functional and aesthetic design requirements of urban streets can be achieved.This paper makes theoretical research and case analysis on three types of streets dominated by motor vehicles,residential areas and commercial sharing,and concludes that the main reason for urban street waterlogging is that the increased impervious surface area in urban street construction changes its original surface hydrological state,resulting in rainwater collection and utilization.At the same time,through on-the-spot investigation,it is found that there are some problems in the construction of urban street landscape,such as the similar street landscape,the imperfect design of slow traffic system,and the unreasonable functional zoning of urban street,which leads to the chaos of street traffic and is difficult to reflect the characteristics of urban cultural landscape.Therefore,this paper puts forward the following methods in the design of Urban Green Street: first,clear the use function of street space,reasonably plan the functional area,and avoid traffic chaos,which are the most basic elements in street design;secondly,we should strengthen the awareness of urban street stormwater management,in the design aspect,we should take the measures of stormwater management as the main purpose of design,and reduce the wind of urban waterlogging Finally,urban cultural information is extracted as the elements of street landscape design,and street greening and landscape design are used to improve the experience of slow traffic system.In addition,through theoretical research,case analysis and field investigation,this paper summarizes the appropriate design methods and applies them to the design of tuofangying road in Jiangtai Township,inner street of jiangfujiayuan community in Beijing,and commercial street in Sanyuan County of Shaanxi Province.In the design case,lid method,namely low impact development technology,is adopted to reduce urban waterlogging,increase rainwater collection area and make full use of rainwater resources;design methods such as street functional area reconstruction and integration of urban cultural elements are adopted to enrich urban street landscape and enhance the comfort of street traffic.Through these design methods,we can effectively improve many problems existing in urban streets,and provide design direction for promoting the future urban green street construction in China.
