Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the process of urbanization has been accelerating,the global climate environment,water resources and other issues continue to emerge,and the frequent occurrence of natural disasters has caused varying degrees of damage to the global ecological environment.The symbiotic relationship between water and city has been destroyed,resulting in frequent occurrence of urban waterlogging,urban water pollution,and serious decline of groundwater level.Urban roads,as the main area of convergence and distribution of urban rainwater runoff,are important places for realizing rainwater and flood management.The construction of green streets can effectively regulate the road rainwater runoff and make full use of rainwater resources.This study consults relevant literature,summarizes the theory of Green Street and rainwater management at home and abroad,and synthesizes the relevant experience of rainwater management of green street through the analysis of classical cases at home and abroad,which provides theoretical support for the follow-up analysis and research.The main research object of this paper is the urban streets of Hohhot City.The main research area is the built area within the Second Ring Road of Hohhot City.Five roads of different nature with serious waterlogging in Hohhot City are selected and investigated from the aspects of road cross-section composition,rainwater runoff path,current situation of rainwater management facilities and pavement.Through investigation,we can know the street of Hohhot City.Road impermeable hard pavement area of 80%.Rainwater is mainly managed and discharged through municipal rainwater pipe network.Through the investigation and analysis of five roads with different properties and functions in Hohhot,the green street design is carried out by intercepting specific sections and combining with rain and flood management facilities such as pervious pavement,roadside extension zone,sunken green space,ecological tree pool and grass planting ditch,so as to change the runoff path and infiltration mode of urban streets.The results show that the design of green street can effectively slow down the runoff of rainwater,realize the seepage of rainwater into the ground,achieve the effect of collecting rainwater resources,and enrich the street landscape.
