Research On The Evolution Of The Ancient Urban System In The Area Around Mount Tai

Mount Tai has been on the stage of history since the birth of Chinese civilization with its brilliant development.As the center of Shandong the feudal society not only undertook the important task of national sacrificial ceremony but also became the political stage to promote the divine right of the emperor.With its unique natural geographical features and profound cultural history as the center Mountain Tai District has built up a unique mountain city system.The evolution of cultural thought and urban pattern in the area around Mountain Tai contains the epitome of ancient Chinese spiritual and material civilization.In this thesis based on the urban and rural planning theory according to the Qin and Han dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties regime change of order urban development history of Qin and Han dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties two ring Mountain Tai area during the period of the development of the city economy analyzed the social background and the urban population scale the ring mountain Tai region from Qin and Han dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties of urban development stage and the stability of the space and selected from the Qin dynasty and Han dynasty Seven time sections in the fifth year of Yonghe the third year of Jingyuan in the Western Jin Dynasty the first year of Taichang in the Northern Wei Dynasty the fourth year of Zhenyuan in the Tang Dynasty the first year of Xingding in the Jin Dynasty and the forty-first year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty were taken as the key research objects.On the basis of studying in installment the city historical data of Qin and Han dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties classics and archaeological data modern research results on the basis of its historical characteristic is obtained as opposed to a regime should ring of regional urban system of hierarchy in mountain Tai using the method of the size of the order and spatial clustering analysis method to study the scale of the urban system structure and the distribution of the city Based on the analysis of point kernel density in GIS tool this thesis studies the evolution characteristics of urban system under the above seven time sections and classifies the factors that can affect the evolution of urban system.Based on the above research this thesis holds that the political system affects the level of urban administration which is the foundation of the urban system structure in the mountainous region the unique natural conditions of the mountainous region limit the development trend of the urban system in this region and the cultural development affects the pattern of the urban system development.Among the above reasons the political system is the foundation which runs through the development of the whole history of the area around Mount Tai.Taking Tang Dynasty as the boundary politics and culture before Tang Dynasty had a strong influence on urban system change.After the Tang Dynasty the influence of economic and social development rose rapidly.Finally it contributed to the urban system around Mountain Tai with Mountain Tai as the center divided the north and the south and coexisted as far as possible.
