has begun to actively explore the relationship between health and urban space and social environment.As a space environment closely related to urban users,the old city has the most direct relationship with the health of citizens.Starting from the concept of a healthy city,the built environment of the old city needs to be improved in many aspects.In the process of shaping the human settlement environment,the behavioral needs of the population and the social management mode have changed,which has caused many health problems that are not compatible with the behavioral needs and management mode in the old city.Solve the problems of the old city and promote the healthy development of the old city renewal,by drawing on the successful experience at home and abroad,based on the reality of the old city in my country,analyze and refine the elements of the healthy city concept on the old city renewal.Grasp the coupling relationship between urban health elements and old city renewal,and explore an old city renewal strategy that is more in line with the law of urban public health development,adapts to the health needs of the users,and realizes the sustainable development of the old city.This paper takes the core area of Jiyang Old City as the empirical research object.The features of the old city of Jiyang during the planned economy period are an important supplement to the historical protection of Jinan.In-depth exploration of the historical and cultural resources of the old city of Jiyang is particularly important for the future development and positioning of Jiyang.At the same time,Jiyang has entered a new era of development.In the future,it needs to take over more population.The old city needs to renew its own positioning to create new economic growth points and achieve sustainable growth of economic and ecological benefits.Based on the basic materials obtained from the survey and research activities of Jiyang heritage elements,the old city renewal under the concept of healthy city is used as the research object to conduct theoretical research and case analysis,and put forward the health needs of the old city,and be problem-oriented,in the macro and
