The increasing aged group, the sub-health people taking up70%of Chinese population, increasing autistic children group with the rate of15,000.00per year, are all the groups who are in urgent need of large-scale rehabilitation in the conditions of present-day China. With the rapid development of the national economy, high-income groups and middle-classes growing up, the strong pursuit of physical and mental health will be further reflected in consumption. All of these undoubtedly speed up health industry development and conversion to health service industry with main subject of medical care, health rehabilitation and leisure fitness. At the same time, medical facilities with the core of medical technique in our country are becoming more and more difficult to satisfy health service market requirements, and the complex integrated community-Healthy City with the core of health service begins to appear in our country.This paper takes Xiangtanshi Jiuhua Healthy City Concept Planning Design as an example, follows the design concept of "people-based concept, benefit of people, management science, pursuit of limitlessness, building harmony", with the core of Xiangtan Center Hospital, investigates, analyzes, summarizes, generalizes symptoms of all ages in Xiangtan City, uniquely and creatively designs medical and nursing, environment and landscape, transportation hub, and function construction of Jiuhua healthy City. It keeps pace with the times throughout, develops the Healthy City with Xiangtan Specialty. It focuses on creating a city complex integrated community with medical care, health care, rehabilitation, providing for the aged, prevention research, research, settlement, and logistical support. It investigates the functional conversion on medical care, environment and nursing from medical architect to "Healthy City" development.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part, by elaborating the status of current Healthy City in our country, spreads out research purpose, research meaning and contents; at the same time, it expounds the existing problems developing from traditional medical model to Healthy City. The second part, beginning from analyzing the current providing for the aged model in our country and Healthy City case research, discusses building needs of Healthy City. The third part, by systematic investigation to society status and medical status in Xiangtan City, analyzes shortage of Xiangtan medical environment in function, transportation, and landscape. The fourth part, carries out examples analysis, details planning and architectural design in Xiangtanshi Jiuhua Healthy City, and analyzes regionally its function and layout, transportation and organization, environment and landscape and architectural design. The fifth part summarizes the whole paper and prospects a better future of Xiangtan City.
