Research On The Application Of LOFT Model In The Renovation Of Industrial Building Space

Since the 1990 s,China’s urbanization process has accelerated.With the industrial transformation of large and medium-sized cities and the entry of the tertiary industry,urban functions have changed,and the population has also increased.In the process of urban renewal,there will be a large number of enterprise relocation and demolition of abandoned buildings,which will cause environmental pollution and waste of cultural relic building resources to a certain extent.Of course,there are also many historic buildings here.With the transformation of industrial society and the adjustment of industrial structure,a large number of industrial buildings with no production function or lack of social adaptability have been left idle or abandoned.Nowadays,the transformation and reuse of industrial building space are inevitable.Modern multiculturalism also participates in the renovation and reuse of industrial architectural Spaces.How we do this in the market environment to provide a new model and way for the renovation of industrial building space is a problem worth discussing.LOFT mode,as a cutting-edge design style,appears in the public’s vision.This artistic expression is popular among artists and contemporary young people for its distinctive characteristics.LOFT originated in the 1950 s,when artists in New York’s Soho area spontaneously renovated the interior of old industrial buildings.As time went on,the LOFT mode’s content and concept became more and more perfect.This paper studies the concepts related to LOFT mode and their application methods,as well as the spatial transformation form and application of industrial buildings.With the help of relevant literature and case analysis and investigation and other research methods,this paper studies the application of LOFT mode and the integrated development of LOFT and industrial building space.The system summarizes the LOFT mode and its application in the reconstruction of industrial internal space,and summarizes the spatial characteristics of LOFT mode in the reconstruction,such as fuzziness and flexibility,tall and open,industrial atmosphere,personalized lighting,avant-garde fashion,etc.Through the analysis and comparison of LOFT mode’s application in cultural,commercial,office and other Spaces,it is concluded that LOFT mode is more valued by the space transformation design of industrialbuildings,and its artistic style,flexibility and personalized design characteristics are obviously different from other types of space.In addition,it theoretically expounds the LOFT mode’s common design styles in the space design of industrial buildings,including industrial era style,modern simple style and mixed style.Through theoretical research and engineering case analysis,the problems of safety,artistry,functional context continuation and other aspects that should be paid attention to in LOFT mode in the spatial reconstruction and reuse of industrial buildings are put forward.To achieve healthy and sustainable development in China,LOFT mode must be close to The Chinese reality,pay attention to the protection and continuation of cultural space,carry forward its own advantages and sustainability,integrate with Chinese characteristics and regional culture,incorporate new methods and ideas,form a unique LOFT mode and space style of industrial architecture in China.LOFT mode has a good development prospect.
