With the rapid development of economy and the coming post-industrial Society, the cities have been gone through the process from industrial city to service city. At this transitional period of city,culture is moving the centre stage of creativity. Cu1ture heritage is the sum of our past creativities and the results of creativity is what keep society going and moving forward. Then,cu1ture and creativity has inducing a new industrial spatial phenomenon——Loft creative industrial district. It refers to the spatial industrial organization gathering in certain urban areas by mean of spatial division of production and creative competition between related extraversion creative industrial and relative institution,based on the creativity from local culture and institutional backgrounds. In this,the main nature of creative industrial district is concerned with extraversion and multidimensional relations. As a new mode of industrial district,creative industrial district agglomerate the high value of different industrial, so it has become the new engine of urban economic growth..As a specific form of reusing old buildings, loft manipulation to urban renewal in the modern decline of urban centers has been the recovery of industrial areas. Loft , how will this creative industries in the context of globalization to maintain and germinate new competitive advantages, has been put on the agenda by government and scholars . Concerning the study of loft creative industries area ,not only can design a single building in a more level to start, another with the industry because of its industrial building system of the complexity and depth, so the study loft, the only attention to construction level is not enough, but should multi-angle, multi-level thinking. This diversity is reflected not only in the architectural composition of space, including cluster aggregation rules, economic composition, and spatial and economic factors in the relationship and interaction within and outside the cluster relationship. This thesis research aims by studying the renovation of this architectural form of the development process, from space and economic perspective of two to sum up its characteristics and practical way, on the one hand, industrial economic boom propelled the transformation of space. On the other hand, loft identification of the characteristics of space, attracted the same values, do not behave the creative talent to this gathering, at the microcosmic played a function: space induced industry. accordingly, The main value of the loft creative industrial district is spatial innovation, development of new economy and urban Functional Space expansion. so, it's necessary to investigate on the space and economy of industry area.in regard to this ,we take the loft creative industrial district as the object of study to explore issues ,such as features of industry spatial area and Dynamic Mechanisms. besides, we made use of architecture, urban renewal theory , economic spatial motility science, systems theory and evolutionary economics and so on ,carried out the loft creative industries area of economic development, spatial relations research, in order to master the essence of spatial innovation better.There are about 10200 words and 68 illustrations in this thesis.
