A Study Of Strange Buildings

In 2014,State President,Xi Jinping,mentioned Strange Architecture during Beijing Forum on literature and art,which result in a heated discussion.The word,Strange Architecture,was put forward for the first time in the research on the present situation and future development of contemporary Chinese architectural design which was written by the group leading by Academy of Engineering,Cheng Taining.In 2016,on the issue of Strange Architecture,the State Council put forward the four principles about the architecture,which are applicable,economic,green,beautiful.According to the essential and the influencing factor of architecture,I tried to dig the background,the reason and the social influence of Strange Architecture.During the process,the neglect impacts bidden from that was discovered.So was the method of avoiding it.By answering the question "what is architecture",I classified and defined Strange Architecture,and found the neglect impact was the users.According to the People and the Environment Theory,I found the Strange Architecture was created by phenomenal environment,personal environment and social environment.Finally,taking the CCTV Building as an example,I analyzed the controversy of the Iconic Building.Strange Architecture is created by the owners,architects and constructors.Avoiding Strange Architecture needs the caring of the users.Completion of building is just the beginning of a building.The users inside the building and the citizen affected by the building will spend much more time understanding the building,and evaluate the building objectively and justly.
