| The architectural spectacle under the consumer society continues to emerge on a global scale.As an important manifestation of the design of commercialization,it can not only serve as a symbol of shaping the city’s overall competitiveness image,but also can serve as an effective marketing tool for companies to promote their own brands.At the same time,it also has problems such as the homogenization of urban space,lack of subjects,and waste of resources.Since China entered the consumer society,various “image projects” and strange buildings have also been a vexing problem.This article regards the consumer society as the background of the contemporary building spectacle and follows the logic of finding problems,thinking about problems,analyzing problems,and solving problems.Firstly,it points outthere are some problems such as the frequency of strange buildings in our ountry,the symbolization of architects and the prevalence of architectural images in the consumption society,and Elaborated the research significance,method and framework.Secondly,by thinking about consumption characteristics,development motives,and spectacle social theories,it is proposed that architecture spectacle is an important manifestation of construction as a commodity in a consumer society.It emphasizes self-discrepancy in various ways and attracts consumers’ attention.The second chapter,as part of the article theory,also expounds the symbolic and imagery features of architectural wonders,and discusses the process of production communication from three aspects: the manipulation of forces behind them and the participation of star architects in the promotion of mass media.The third and fourth chapters are chapters that comb the phenomenon of architectural spectacle.Based on the theoretical analysis,the architectural design concepts of typical architects under the consumer society are analyzed and analyzed based on the two characteristics of buildings as symbolic symbols and image spectacle.Analyze and collate the physical manifestations of architectural spectacle from three aspects: differentiated form,visualized epidermis,and experiential space.From the objective aspects of their respective components,as well as the subjective aspects of the effects and psychological feelings,design strategies,etc.to analyze their respective effects.The fifth chapter analyzes the reasons behind the phenomenon of architectural spectacle from three aspects: the transformation of architectural object value,the change of related subject concepts and the promotion of architectural wonders.Through the comparative analysis of the reasons behind the differences between Chinese and Western architectural wonders,it is emphasized that the absence of criticism of consumer culture,the expansion of architectural ontology and the lack of research,and lack of confidence in local culture are the important reasons for their differences.The sixth chapter criticizes and designs the architectural spectacle.First of all,through the combing of architectural wonders in the previous section,the proposed three-point transition was proposed as an architect: from commodities to catalysts,from material to non-material,and from function-oriented to experience-oriented.from commodities to catalysts,from material to non-material and from function to experience-oriented.Secondly,it points out the two sides of architectural wonders,and addresses the negative effects such as spatial homogenization and lack of use subjects caused by architectural wonders.From the design point of view,it proposes to establish local diversity based on local conditions and to establish a mechanism to open the participation mechanism throughout the project,so as to effectively promote public participation in project communication,coordination,and decision-making. |
