In the current trend of rapid change of business environment,companies will encounter many competition and many market risks to meet consumers' needs.After a certain level of business management is achieved,once a certain stage of growth is achieved,it will enter a period of low growth,which is sluggish.In order to overcome sluggish growth,mergers and acquisitions are often used to promote their own development.Many enterprises have been well prepared for mergers and acquisitions,but the development after mergers and acquisitions has not met the expected target,which has much to do with the initial survival strategy after mergers and acquisitions.By using the literature research and case analysis method to analyze the theory of merger and acquisition and the model of strategic integration with the actual case,this paper studies the existential strategy of enterprise mergers and acquisitions,and concludes that the core strategic content that enterprises should implement after implementing the merger and acquisition is to integrate the companies of both sides,so as to promote the common development.Consider the acquisition and merger of Mitsui Chemicals in Japan and Korea's KOC Corporation as an example to study the survival strategy of the company after the merger.In the case of the case,the KOC and Mitsui Chemical merged in order to consolidate the market and promote their own development,but after the merger,the KOC faced a series of negative issues,including product raw materials,external market occupancy,and internal staff conflict.By analyzing the basic situation of the two companies,the resources and advantages of the two companies,the background of the merger and acquisition,the reasons of the merger and acquisition,and the successful case of Haier multinational merger and acquisition,it is concluded that the first development strategy of the two companies is to integrate the two companies,including the common development strategy,enterprise management,corporate culture,human resources and market.
