Research And Application Of Dragon Patterns And Colors In Qing Dynasty

Dragon pattern is a representative totem pattern of the Chinese nation,with unique symbolism and nationality.In feudal society,the dragon pattern is often used as the royal pattern symbol,it is not only a symbol of the supreme authority of the royal family,but also to a certain extent shows the aesthetic and cultural and ideological characteristics of the society at that time.This paper takes the dragon pattern in the Qing Dynasty dress as the research object,through the collation and analysis of a large number of related literature and dragon pattern data,refines and summarizes the law of dragon pattern shape and color in the Qing Dynasty dress.This paper summarizes the artistic features of dragon pattern modeling and color,and organically combines them in modern design to carry out design practice.This study is helpful to enrich the research system of traditional patterns in ancient China,spread the traditional culture,and provide reference for the modern art design of traditional pattern art.The research on dragon pattern modeling in Qing Dynasty mainly adopts the methods of pattern comparative analysis and data statistics to analyze the evolution process of dragon pattern,the structural form of dragon pattern in clothing and the morphological characteristics of dragon pattern.It is concluded that the dragon pattern gradually develops and matures with the passage of the times,and the dragon pattern in the dress of the Qing Dynasty presents different modeling characteristics in the early,middle and late stage,showing majesty in the early stage,exquisite form in the middle stage,and weak breath in the late period.The four kinds of dragon patterns in common clothing,sitting dragon,row dragon,ascending dragon and descending dragon are all in the form of artistic expression of the combination of points,lines and surfaces,and the area proportion relationship between the head,limbs and torso and tail.It basically conforms to the proportion of golden section series or equal difference series.The research on the color of dragon pattern in Qing Dynasty mainly adopts the method of legend analysis and data statistics,which is analyzed from four aspects:sitting dragon,walking dragon,ascending dragon and falling dragon pattern.The color of dragon pattern in Qing Dynasty experienced the process from natural to rich to scribbled.The color of dragon pattern was different in different types of clothing,the color of dragon pattern was single in architecture,the color of porcelain was rich,and the color of fabric was the most exquisite.In the sitting dragon pattern,there is the change of the brightness of the same color,the harmonious change of the adjacent color,the strong contrast of the complementary color,the change of the brightness of the dragon pattern,the harmonious rhythm of gradual discoloration,and the balance and contrast of the adjacent color.There is a strong contrast of gradual rhythm and complementary color in the ascending dragon pattern,there is a strong sense of integrity in the descending dragon pattern,the use of gradual color brings a sense of rhythm,and the collocation of approximate color has a harmonious change effect.The use of contrast color balances the picture,and the use of color as a whole conforms to the aesthetic rules.The research on the application of dragon pattern in the dress of Qing Dynasty adopts the method of induction and deduction to carry on the design practice and analysis from two aspects of application analysis and design practice.Through the traditional element extraction and modern design and application of the dragon pattern shape and color of the Qing Dynasty dress,this paper obtains the application method of the Qing Dynasty dress dragon pattern in the modern design,and carries on the modern design practice to the Qing Dynasty dress dragon pattern shape and color.It is concluded that the design practice scheme of the Qing Dynasty dress dragon pattern in the modern design,and finally shows the design application of the Qing Dynasty dress dragon pattern in the modern cultural shirt,pillow and curtain,and achieves the ideal decoration effect in the space.It also provides a new idea for the application of traditional patterns in modern design.Through the above research,this paper makes a systematic analysis of the dragon pattern decoration mainly used in the Qing Dynasty,and analyzes the modeling characteristics and evolution process of the dragon pattern,the color characteristics and the application in the modern design practice.All of them have carried on the more systematic analysis and explanation,which provides the theoretical basis and reference for the research,development and utilization of the traditional pattern.
