The Application Of Macrame Weaving Technology In Modern Furniture Design

Macrame knitting technology is a handicraft to knot linear materials.It has a history of thousands of years and has been developed and spread to this day.The purpose of this paper is to explore the integration and development of handicraft and modern furniture design by studying the application of Macrame knitting technology in modern furniture design.However,after the author's review,there are few literature books published by Macrame,which may be due to the limitations of the historical communication mode.In this paper,we first sort out the history of Macrame,sort out and classify the techniques of Macrame knitting,and record them in the form of words combined with flat pictures.Combining the design method of Macrame knitting technology and modern furniture,the design practice of 8 Macrame knitting technology and modern furniture is completed.According to the application of Macrame knitting technology in modern furniture design practice,from the perspective of technology,modeling,and materials,summed up its aesthetic characteristics.As a kind of handicraft art,combining Macrame knitting technology with modern furniture is a way of combining traditional art with modern production.This paper has a positive significance for the inheritance and development of national handicraft by classifying and integrating Macrame knitting technology and furniture design.This paper explores the integration of Macrame knitting technology and modern furniture from three aspects of design concept,design application and design aesthetics,and expounds its artistic expression from point,line and surface expression,treatment of color and surface texture,and Research on culture and art.This paper sums up the problems about how to combine the technology of Macrame knitting with modern furniture from technology,manufacture to aesthetics,and puts forward solutions.Finally,in the way of design practice,the solutions are expressed by means of design,and the practical results of Macrame knitting technology in modern furniture design are displayed in a multi angle and visual way.
