The arguments on the relationship between industrial volume productions and handicraft arts have never been ceased.Recently,the focus of media has shifted to well-known "Created in China" and "Craftsman's Spirit" from previous "Made in China".In recent years,the revivals of traditional handicraft arts have been carried out all over China like "sparks of fire".According to the writer,art workers shall not only inherit traditional handicraft arts and make innovative developments for them,but also inherit the essence of traditional handicraft arts,"Craftsman's Spirit".They can manually experience relevant materials with concentration,dedication and attitude of keeping improvements;they can break the conventional modes of using industrial materials based on the objective environment of industrial volume production materials in contemporary era to appreciate the form beauty of such industrial materials from artistic perspectives instead of blindly contradicting industrialization.Art workers may do exactly the opposite by using industrial materials from volume productions,utilizing its advantages,inheriting the Chinese concept of unifying minds and hands,and making experimental innovations for materials with artistic creations so as to indulge in creations in appropriate manners.They can express the emotions and attitudes of writers by using the artistic language of any certain material,which can not only make viewers experience the thoughts and emotions of such creators,but also appreciate the texture beauty of relevant materials so as to combine industrial materials from volume productions and manual working methods in a perfect manner.The writer attempted to select metal net as the research material based on the above perspectives,its special feelings on industrialization and manual working methods during its childhood,the artistic creation ideas and material research methods learned through professional as well as the thoughts and experiences of the writer on life;the writer has conducted a large number of material experimental researches to create works and derivative products with artistic effects with industrial metal nets by producing them manually and present the different and unique aesthetic feelings of such materials.It is expected that the efforts for the innovation of artistic products can serve as a modest spur to make others provide more valuable ideas and contributions by closely combining the paper and relevant practices.The paper is attached with some tables and pictures as auxiliary illustrations.
