Early childhood science education is an educational activity aimed at stimulating children’s cognitive ability and desire for exploration,providing children with a large amount of concise and basic scientific information.As an important means of children’s science education,children’s science picture books are one of the main ways to spread science knowledge,and they occupy an irreplaceable position in children’s enlightenment education.At present,the research on popular science picture books for children at home and abroad has been very rich,and there are many excellent classic cases for reference,but there is still considerable zone for development.First of all,according to the staged characteristics of children’s physical and psychological development,the themes of children’s popular science picture books are mostly based on the cognition of things and phenomena existing in nature,and the introduction of folk customs is relatively limited.Therefore,this paper attempts to break this strict For the design and research of the popular science picture book,the "Five Poisonous Animals" which are related to the traditional Chinese folk customs of the Dragon Boat Festival and are often seen in daily life are selected.Secondly,most of the animal themes in children’s popular science picture books are presented in the real form of animals in nature,lacking the sense of bringing into the story,which limits the enthusiasm of children to accept actively and the cultivation of concentration in the process of acceptance to a certain extent.,this paper attempts to redesign the image of the "Five Poisonous Animals" suitable for children’s visual and psychological acceptance,and integrates the narrative content,which helps to stimulate children’s cognitive interest.In addition,we are in the information age,and the relationship between digital communication and traditional media is also one of the issues that I think about.In the design of picture books,not only interactive techniques such as flipping books and page-pulling books are used,but also video and audio are embedded.and other digital resources to meet the diverse needs of the audience.To sum up,based on the characteristics of children’s thinking cognition and visual cognition,this paper takes the theme of "Five Poisonous Animals" as the breakthrough point,and from the perspective of popular science disseminating Chinese excellent traditional culture,attempts to explore the design of children’s popular science picture books,"Five Poisonous Animals" culture Propositions such as historical traceability and traditional Chinese color matching hope to enrich the possibility of designing and researching popular science picture books for children at the theoretical and practical levels. |
