| Science education should start from dolls,and science picture book for children is an important medium to learn science.Good visual design provides an intuitive visual experience which can promote children to approach,pick up and continue to read.In this paper,we can not only know the current situation through research,analyze and discuss the problems existing in the area,but also put forward suggestions which in order to make a contribution to the design of children's science picture books in China,and open the door of children's science enlightenment artistically,so that the value of children's science picture books can be brought into play,so as to better serve children's learning and development.This paper takes 144 picture books which are widely used in the kindergart ens of H City in 2019-2020 as the research object,and uses content analysis method to analyze the visual design of children's scientific picture books from the external form level to internal combination level.In the aspect of external form,it analyzes the visual design of external form from three aspects:cover,format and material.At the inner combination level,analyzes the visual design of inner combination from three aspects:the relationship between pictures and texts,the coherence of pictures and the combination rhythm.We can code the external form and internal combination of the visual desig n of children's science picture books by using the coding table,make statistical analysis of the data formed.It's found that there are some problems exist in the visual design of children's science picture books.On the external form level,main problem is the monotonous visual calling On the internal combination level,main problem is the expected context.Finally,in order to solve these problems,there are two specific suggestions on the external form of scientific picture books,the one is not named in the same style,the other is making an internal combination which is full of fun. |
