| Under the background of the new era,rural teachers became a key factor in shaping the development of rural education.The call to promote rural revitalization and develop rural education drived the professional development of rural teachers and became the internal driving force to improve the quality of rural education.However,due to the limitations of rural environment and resources,the current level of professionalism of rural teachers had become a shortcoming that restricted the development of rural education,it was difficult for rural teachers to rely on the teacher training activities currently organized by their schools to meet their own development needs.Therefore,it was expected that by constructing the Learning community,Research community and Development community(LRDC)between rural teachers and teachers in normal colleges and universities,rural teacher workforce quality issues could be solved,the professional development level of rural teachers could be improved.At the same time,for teachers in normal colleges and universities,it met the needs of educational research and basic education services,and also promoted the training of teacher training students.Literature analysis and case study method were used in this study to focus on the dilemmas faced by rural teachers’ professional development and the necessity and feasibility of constructing LRDC.Then,the questionnaire method was used to conduct an in-depth survey on the current situation of rural biology teachers’ professional development in Liaoning Province.The analysis of the survey results showed that rural biology teachers currently faced many dilemmas,mainly in the lack of professional literacy in biology;the lack of a consistent internal vision;the training content could not meet the needs of their own professional development;and the lack of a voice about their own views and opinions in the activities.Through the interview survey with teachers in normal colleges and universities,the willingness and ability of teachers in normal colleges and universities to construct LRDC were clarified.According to the findings,based on the concept of collaborative symbiosis and an in-depth understanding of the actual needs of rural teachers,biology disciplines were used as an example,"E-T-N-R" four members in LRDC were aggregated,the basic framework of LRDC between rural teachers and teachers in teacher training colleges was constructed,and the content of the LRDC community in terms of cooperation development in dimensions such as shared vision was sorted out,"P-A-I-C-E" operation mechanism and the "V-T-P-P-E" five steps activity model were created,a multi-level guarantee mechanism was designed.The LRDC had operated in practice initially and the feedback from the community members,rural biology teachers’ need to improve their educational and pedagogical skills was met by LRDC,through the follow-up guidance of teachers in normal colleges and the support of other community members,deep thinking within the members,the professional development of rural biology teachers could be effectively enhanced. |
