As things are at present,China’s economy has been witnessed rapidly developed.,more and more talents are becoming the core employees in their companies.As a link between talents and enterprises,headhunting consultants play a huge role.As the most important resource of headhunting company,their working ability level seriously affects the development of company.Through literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey and other research methods,we get competency model of headhunter,then using key event interview and other methods to establish the competency evaluation index of Atomic headhunting consultants.Atomic as a foreign headhunting company with rapid development in recent years,there are some problems in recruitment,training,performance,staff career development and other aspects,we are committed to developing Atomic company headhunting consultant evaluation standard system,in order to improve the ability of Atomic company headhunting consultant.In the process of this study,first,through the competency theory research,search consultant’s competency evaluation methods of literature review method,collect and learn the excellent research results of competency theory at domestic and abroad market.Based on the competency iceberg model proposed by Michael Rowland,it is concluded that the competency model suitable for Atomic headhunting consultants has five firstlevel dimensions: knowledge/skills,professional quality,personal characteristics,project operation ability and achievement motivation.Through job analysis,expert interview and other methods,based on obtaining 20 competency evaluation indexes under five dimensions,the reliability and validity of secondary competency evaluation indexes are calculated by SPSS analysis,and get APH values of five dimensions are determined.Through a questionnaire survey to the staff of Atomic headhunting consultants,and combined with the survey results to analyze the competency of Atomic headhunting consultants.Finally,according to the secondary evaluation index weight,evaluate the competence level of executive search consultant,concluded that cooperate Australian company executive search consultants in the aspect of professional quality with good professional quality and basic knowledge/skills perform good,and project operation skills,personal qualities,the evaluation of achievement motivation conclusion is low level.Aid to Atomic company executive search consultants competency as the research object,use a variety of different research methods to establish reasonable and effective evaluation indicators,to enhance the level of executive search consultants competency as the goal,hope that through this article research,to search consultant of competency evaluation theory provides a new view and method,and it also provides a reference for the management of headhunting companies to better promote the performance growth and long-term development.
